4. User Accounts and Order Processing (WooCommerce)

Automatic Account Creation & Downloads

Our store operates via WooCommerce. When you place an order for our digital assets (such as sample packs or Ableton devices), a user account is automatically generated for you to ensure you can securely access, download, and manage your purchased files at any time.

Upon generation, an automated email containing a link to set or reset your password is sent to the email address you provided.

We process the following data during registration and checkout:

  • First and last name

  • Email address

  • Billing address

  • City

  • Order history and download logs (to monitor download limits and successful file delivery)

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) as the user account and download infrastructure are necessary to fulfill the digital delivery of your purchase. Your data will be stored as long as your account remains active or as required by statutory commercial and tax retention laws.

5. Payment Providers

To process payments for our digital products, we use third-party payment gateways integrated via WooCommerce. When you make a purchase, your payment details are transmitted directly to these providers. We do not store your full credit card details or bank credentials on our own servers.

Stripe

If you choose payment via Credit Card, EPS, or Klarna, the transaction is processed via Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland). Data transmitted to Stripe may include your name, email, billing address, purchase total, and payment method details.

  • The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).

  • For more information, please review Stripe’s Privacy Policy: https://stripe.com/privacy

PayPal

If you choose to pay via PayPal (PayPal Europe S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg), you will be redirected to PayPal’s platform. PayPal collects your payment information, account details, and shipping/billing address.

  • Legal Basis: The use of Google Analytics is based strictly on your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165 (3) TKG (Austria). You can revoke your consent at any time via our cookie consent banner.

  • Your data will be deleted once your request has been fully resolved, provided that no statutory archiving obligations (e.g., tax or commercial retention periods) conflict with the deletion.
